This Privacy Policy explains how The Lighthouse Keeper (“the Game”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Game on iOS or Android.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Game, we may collect:

• Account information: username, display name, email address, user ID, selected keeper character, and account language.
• Gameplay information: level, lighthouse upgrades, strength, defense, crew capacity and composition, league position, virtual currency balances, rewards, and other game progress.
• Activity information: account creation and update dates, last active date, notification preferences, premium entitlement, and related service events.
• Device and technical information: device language and technical information necessary to authenticate users, deliver notifications, maintain security, and operate the Game.
• Advertising and diagnostics information: device identifiers, approximate location derived from technical signals such as IP address, advertisements viewed or interacted with, product interaction, crash information, performance information, and other diagnostic data.
• Purchase information: product identifiers, purchase status, and subscription entitlement. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, save and synchronize game progress, operate leagues and gameplay features, deliver requested notifications, verify purchases, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

3. Services We Use

The Game uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. These services process data on our behalf to provide authentication, cloud storage, server-side game operations, and push notifications.

The Game may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may process device identifiers, approximate location, advertising data, product interaction, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic information to deliver, measure, limit, secure, and—where permitted and consented to—personalize advertisements. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the Game, when required by law, to protect users and our rights, or as part of a business transfer where legally permitted.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and gameplay information while your account is active and for as long as necessary to provide the Game, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Local preferences may remain on your device until the Game is removed or its data is cleared.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may change notification preferences in the Game or your device settings. You may request account deletion from the Profile page in the Game. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Game is not directed to children under the minimum digital-consent age applicable in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us through the support channel on the Game’s App Store or Google Play listing.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Game or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date.
