Terms of Use

End User License Agreement (EULA) · Effective date: September 30, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of The Lighthouse Keeper (“the Game”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) on iOS and Android. By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Game, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others or choose offensive usernames. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page in the Game.

3. Virtual Items and Currency

Coins, pearls, chests, crew members, lighthouse upgrades, and other in-game content are virtual items licensed to you for use within the Game only. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred, sold, or traded outside the Game. We may adjust, rebalance, or remove virtual items for gameplay, security, or technical reasons.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

The Game offers optional in-app purchases, including the auto-renewable Premium subscription. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms govern payment, cancellation, and refunds.

• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings (Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions) or in Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Restoring: You can restore previous purchases from the Premium screen in the Game.

5. Rules of Conduct

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or unauthorized third-party software, interfere with servers or other players, harass others, or use the Game for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or endanger the service, and remove related virtual items, where permitted by law.

6. Changes to the Game

We may update, change, or discontinue features, content, events, and leagues at any time for balance, security, legal, or technical reasons. Some features may require an internet connection or the latest version of the Game.

7. Intellectual Property

The Game, including its artwork, characters, music, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information when you use the Game.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. If the Game fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Game, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Game.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, virtual items, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Game. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the Game from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

• These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”), and we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Game and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the Game.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the Game, including product liability claims, claims that the Game fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or similar claims.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the Game or your use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Game.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

12. Termination

These Terms apply until terminated by you or us. You may terminate them at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the Game. Your license ends automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Game or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
